Otago Open Days are taking place on Sunday 3 May and Monday 4 May – we’d love for you to join us!
Otago Open Days are a great way to experience our beautiful campus and the city of Dunedin. You’ll have the opportunity to explore some of our student facilities, discover a range of study options, and get a taste for student life at Otago.
Most first-year students choose to live at home or stay in one of our 15 residential colleges. Each college offers three catered meals a day, a strong support network and a lively social calendar. You’ll be able to tour the colleges and find out more about college life during Otago Open Days.
Your travel arrangements
Each year, we welcome over 1,000 people to Dunedin for Open Days. We recommend booking your flights and accommodation early to ensure you don’t miss out on the exciting activities we have planned for this year.

You’ll have the opportunity to chat with staff and current students, and get the inside scoop on the subjects that interest you, so completing the quiz before attending Otago Open Days will help you explore the best that Otago has to offer – and may even reveal options you hadn’t considered yet!
