If you would like to enter, please send back the signed ENTRY form (attached), along with other documentation as per the pre-selection requirements as soon as you can, but no later than 5pm on Friday 30th May 2025.
The reason for the pre-selection process is so that we can ensure a high standard of work on the runway; we know how many entries we have before the last minute; AND – you dont spend months and months on a design, to have it rejected at the last minute!
It is FREE to enter – only if you are accepted as a finalist, do you have to pay the $40 entry fee per item.
The most important thing we need to know is – your concept / idea – the story behind the garment, and the materials being used.
Don’t be put off by writing a bio either – we just want to know a bit about you, why you have entered – what other creative outlets you have etc.
If you have never entered a Wearable Arts Competition before – GREAT – this event is for you! Please just get in touch if you have any questions!!
IF YOU HAVE STARTED YOUR ENTRY – please send through your entry form and concept as soon as possible. This will really help us with our planning.
You can always update progress again before Friday 30th May – by sending through photos of work to date/parts completed.
