Celebrating Success and Our School Values

June 26, 2026

During our level assemblies today, we celebrated the success of the students who were chosen for the Top Learner Awards in each of their subjects. These awards go to students who consistently arrive to class on time with all the equipment they need, stay engaged in their lessons with a positive attitude and receive “3s” on their fortnightly reports. A huge congratulations to all of our Top Learner Award recipients.

Readiness to Learn

Level assemblies are also a fantastic opportunity to discuss what our core values look like in action around the school. This week, our focus was on preparation. We talked about:

  • Arriving to class with all the correct equipment required for learning.

  • Using the bathroom or getting a drink before class starts.

  • Lining up before the second bell sounds.

As a reminder, students have 5 minutes from the time the warning bell sounds until the final bell, at which point they are expected to be in class and ready to learn.

School Values “Big A” Draw

We are also excited to announce the winners of this week’s School Values Big A Draw. Every time a student earns a “Big A” for demonstrating one or more of our school values, they get an entry into the draw. The more Big A’s they earn, the higher their chances of winning.

Our prize winners for this week are:

  • Year 7/8 – Cecily Rosling-Heppell

  • Year 9/10 – Ellie Tangney

  • Year 11-13 – Michae Sutton
