Reminder from NZQA: NCEA Results & Students Contact Details

NCEA results will be available online from 14 January 2026 and scanned answers will be available soon afterwards.

NZQA recommends students practise logging into their NZQA student login before Christmas, so they won’t need to find their login details or reset their password on release day. If students do have problems with their student login, NZQA’s chatbot ‘Awhina’ is available 24 hours a day to help students find their National Student Number (NSN) and create their login. If Awhina is unable to provide an answer, students can call NZQA on 0800 697 296 during business hours.

If students are leaving school and have a school email address linked to their login, students should change this to an address they will maintain access to: https://www2.nzqa.govt.nz/login/ Telephone the NZQA call centre on 0800 697 296 during business hours if you have any problems doing this.

Here are some answers to common questions you might have. This page contains answers to questions about creating an NZQA account, using the learner portal, and uploading digital submissions.

If you have any other questions, please:

A reminder that it’s totally normal to feel nervous about your exam results, but try not to dwell on them. If you are feeling some pressure, NZQA have some resources to help.
